My name is Justine (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Dance/Movement Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in the Greater Toronto Area.

My therapeutic approach is client-centred, allowing us to make sense of your lived experience together collaboratively, within a relational, anti-oppressive and trauma-informed framework.

As a holistic practitioner, I integrate talk therapy and cognitive approaches with psycho-spirituality, expressive arts and somatic (body-oriented) modalities informed by Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), and Somatic Experiencing (SE) training.

Outside of my practice, I have the pleasure of bringing my passion for children, movement and play, to my role as a facilitator of movement sessions through the National Centre for Dance Therapy (NCDT) for Connected North, an organization geared towards fostering student engagement and enhanced education outcomes in remote Indigenous communities. As part of a therapist collective, I get to create and facilitate mental health related workshops, modules, discussions and more for a number of organizations. And finally, I’m a Board member for Wonderfully Made, a youth empowerment initiative, and have also served as an elected Board member of the Dance Movement Therapy Association of Canada (DMTAC).

With empathic understanding, curiosity and openness, I welcome tuning into the wisdom that both the mind and body hold. I strive to invite in all parts of my clients holding space with care.
